How do I become a member of the Association?

Enrolled advocates practising at the district court can apply through the Membership Enquiry form on the Contact page. Applications are reviewed by the managing committee at its monthly meeting.

When is the annual subscription due?

The subscription year runs alongside the Association's financial year. Renewal notices are published under Notifications and typically open in July.

Does the Association offer legal aid to the public?

Yes, through the Legal Aid Cell, coordinated with the District Legal Services Authority for those unable to afford representation.

How can I access the law library?

Members have round-the-clock access with their membership card. Non-member researchers may request access through the Secretary's office.
